Management of the Fund

Her Majesty Ashi Tshering Pem Wangchuck, as President, oversees the management and administration of the YDF with assistance of the following:

Management Board

Ensures the growth and sustainability of the fund, approve projects, approve annual budget of the Secretariat, appoint and discharge staff of the Secretariat, review reports prepared by the Secretariat, monitor the implementation of projects, oversee the financial condition of the fund.

Secretariat

• Ensures day to day management of the YDF.
• Ensure proper project execution as well as monitoring and evaluation.
• Maintain the fund accounts, liaison and coordinate with stake holders.
• Oversee the fund management.
• Review proposals and submit to Board for approval.
• Identify projects and seek funding.
• Prepare reports, both annual and periodical.
• Execute directives from the President and Board.

Transparency and Accountability

The fund is audited by the Royal Audit Authority of Bhutan and the annual and periodical progress reports will help to monitor and evaluate activities supported by the Fund.
